    Most B2B targeting models are missing a crucial element. The old way looked at two things: → Is this target account a good fit? → Are they showing buying intent? But what changes everything is adding relationships to the equation. I call it the FIR model: Fit + Intent + Relationships Think about your target accounts: High fit + High intent + No relationship = Cold, hard selling Lower fit + Strong relationship + Some intent = Potential Perfect fit + Warm intro + Low intent = Low-hanging fruit Stop treating them as separate metrics. They're multipliers. A strong relationship can overcome lower intent. High intent can bridge a relationship gap. Perfect fit makes both more valuable. This isn't just another scoring model. It's a new way to see your addressable market. The leaders who win tomorrow aren't the ones with the most data. They're the ones who understand this hidden dynamic.
