One of the most powerful sessions of the whole summit was the fireside chat with Arian Simone (CEO & Founding Partner of Fearless Fund)?and Elizabeth Gore (Co-founder & President of Hello Alice ).
Geri Stengel (President and Founder, Ventureneer) led the conversation. (She has a fantastic column in Forbes.)
There wasn't a fireplace with a roaring fire during this fireside chat, but I think we all felt a?????? ??? fire in our bellies as these two powerful women shared about their legal battles.
REWIND:?Their organizations empower marginalized entrepreneurs.
Activist groups sued them- claiming discrimination- because one of each of their grant programs prioritized Black entrepreneurs.
Yeah.
Insane.
These women kept going, despite tremendous stress, financial losses, needing to let go of valuable staff members, and more.
