    This was supposed to just be a LI Post but LI told me I was WAY OVER limits on characters so I moved it to an official LI article. Yes it's long but I think anyone that has an opinion of how to activate/attend SXSW will be interested in reading my recap for SXSW 2025 - after all, this was my 20th SXSW. I have to jet to my next thing on my calendar but I'll try to update the comments sections later with links to various events we were actually tied to this year.     THE CONTEXT: Our very own Cindy Y. Lo has been nominated (again!) as a Strategic Supporter by Austin Woman Magazine in their 2025 Change Makers List —an accolade celebrating “women who are making significant and intentional strides to uplift Austin’s community.” (If you’re connected with her here on LinkedIn, you know she is THE definition of a strategic supporter!) THE CHALLENGE: Embodying her nomination’s spirit, Cindy Y. Lo challenged her teams at RED VELVET ( ?? ) and Strong Events : “I’d love to figure out if there’s a clever way from both companies to recognize the winners on this list in our own respective voices… Main thing is we want to continue to be a voice of support for these women of Austin.” THE CONCEPT: We got to work doing what we do best: blending heart, strategy, and creativity into an experiential moment. In collaboration with our sister company Strong Events fabrication team, we designed photo installation: a mirrored arch inspired by the prompt, “How did you break through the glass ceiling in your career as a woman?” THE EXECUTION: Balancing a tight timeline and wanting to do justice to bring this thought starter to life, our teams sprang into action. On Wednesday, our installation became a highlight at Austin Woman Magazine Change Makers celebration, sparking conversation and photo ops while underscoring the power of women supporting women!

    Relive the magic of AFROTECH Conference 2024 ?? RED VELVET lead Designer Genesis C. strategically designed the spaces in the George R. Brown Convention Center by vibe, which made it easy to navigate the conference, engage with the surrounding area, and foster community. These spaces aligned with the focus of AfroTech and it's 2024 conference mission in "creating a collaborative space where innovation meets execution, and companies can invest in the future of tech leadership.” Who’s ready for AfroTech 2025? ??
