We recently came across a powerful example of local broadcast in action. When wildfires broke out near Tulsa, GriffinMedia's KOTV did what local broadcasters do best: they showed up—fast, live, and with coverage that truly mattered. Streaming > Social: Video streaming has officially outpaced social media as the go-to form of escapism. ?? Nostalgia is Back: People are tuning in to nostalgic content more than ever. ?? Gen Z on the Job: 72% of Gen Z viewers stream video while working from home. But here’s the kicker: 81% of Gen Z viewers are open to taking action after seeing engaging ads, but 73% feel current ads don’t resonate with them. Streaming pause ads leverage consumers’ control over their own TV viewing time, while providing brands a BIG slate to craft their message and touch points. ?? to ADWEEK article ?? https://lnkd.in/ekv36rFr A recent study by EDO found that Fubo’s pause ads significantly enhance traditional video ad campaigns in consumer engagement. Viewers who saw pause ads were 33% more likely to engage with the brand than those who watched only video ads.
