This two-day tournament, in partnership with the APGA and First Tee — Greater Philadelphia, provides access to communities traditionally underrepresented in golf. Jefferson volunteers were out in South West Philadelphia at Bethany Baptist Church’s Community Resource Health Event, offering education on cancer prevention and health plans. Our team connected the church with Giant Pharmacy, which provided flu and COVID-19 vaccines to numerous community members. We are creating healthy communities with our volunteers in action! #TeamJefferson

Jefferson Health Plans recently donated $50,000 to No More Secrets Minds Body Spirit Inc., a community organization focused on addressing menstrual equity and providing free menstrual supplies to those in need. A few months ago, heavy rains caused flood damage to their Germantown location. In addition to the monetary donation to help rebuild, Jefferson employees collected several boxes of menstrual products and toiletries to restock the organization’s supplies and community resources inventory.
