IAMBIC's Techstars program has officially concluded. Kicking off Demo Day as the 1st pitch in NYC was an incredible chance to showcase our work in developing AI-tailored, precision-fit shoes, offering a solution for the 1 in 4 frustrated with finding the right shoe fit who no longer have to settle for “good enough.” ?? The highlight of the whole experience was connecting with fellow founders. There’s nothing quite like camping out daily with inspirational leaders also striving to make their mark on the world: John Morad, Andrew Guzman, Rumaiza Ali, Ernesto Reza-Gardu?o, Issa Saunders, Miguel Alecio, Joshua Rome, Alex Gabriel, Laurel Djoukeng, Christian Jacobsen, and Rauf H.. As a former music journalist who's done Coachella 13x, Primavera Sound 4x, Glastonbury twice, Desert Daze, FYF, and countless more festivals, one common thread was how grueling it was to be on my feet all day. No matter which brand I tried, I always had the same pains, and would inevitably miss a set or be restrained in my enjoyment because of it. Not anymore. I'm proud to say that IAMBIC has solved the dilemma of the festival shoe. I recently went to the millennial indie sleaze nostalgia fest Just Like Heaven, and danced and ran from stage-to-stage all day without worry or trouble.
