Too often communications and touchpoints are viewed within a singular lens, without looking at the customer journey. Journeys do wonders for delivering better experiences to your customers but they only are of value if you take note of them from a customer centric point of view.   • Love to see our Chameleons paying it forward in their respective communities. Christa Patrylak (Creeger), thank you for all you do for your community and your clients to level up their marketing game. ??

    This week I had the privilege of speaking with eager early stage Georgia Tech CREATE-X Entrepreneurs about building their marketing playbook rooted in customer data & insights. The persistent theme? “Your product isn’t the hero - your customers are.” My hope was for them to walk away from the session with three key take-aways: 1. Marketing myths slow growth (i.e. “We need to appeal to everyone”)? 2. The most successful startups take a customer-focused growth approach 3. Only focus on essential marketing building blocks - community building, organic, partnerships / influencers, product-led growth. Complex growth investment comes after you've validated your ICP (Ideal customer profile), messaging, conversion funnel. My favorite part were the questions that emerged: - How do you know if your ICP is too niche or too broad? - What are the most important attributes for identifying your ICP? - Subscription fatigue is growing - how do you decide how to price your product? - How do you find out what customers are willing to pay?? It truly brings me so much joy to play even the smallest part in empowering these visionary Founders to maximize their startups growth potential. Thank you to the incredible Margaret Weniger for inviting me to share my perspective with this brilliant group of tech Founders and introducing me to Kt McBratney, who shares my passion for paying it forward in Atlanta.?
