    Let me tell you about these two insane charts that show the opportunity for podcasters on YouTube. Our audio podcast has grown steadily. The top chart shows actual time spent listening to the show since it launched in March 2020. This only includes Apple and Spotify, but that's a good, representative sample. And, as you can see, we see steady growth week-to-week and month-to-month. It's a healthy podcast! But now look what happens when we introduce the watch time of our YouTube channel (launched in July 2022) to the SAME chart on the bottom... Spotify and Apple consumption are still shown on that chart. They're just dwarfed by the success of our YouTube channel. That didn't happen overnight. Our YouTube success started in June 2023 (a year into the channel) when we fundamentally changed our approach. Since then, we've consistently generated 10x more video consumption than audio, peaking at 37x more watch time in October 2023. Our podcast has ~2 million downloads in 4+ years, while our YouTube channel has generated more than 5 million views in just over 2 (!!) There's a big opportunity for podcasters on YouTube, but most podcasters aren't actually benefiting from that opportunity. And when you go through the effort of producing a video podcast and DON'T see a result..it's both frustrating AND expensive. So...let me help you figure out video for your podcast. My producer Conor?and I are co-hosting a three-hour live workshop on Friday, October 11, to share everything we know about video podcasting. This isn't a basic or catch-all "how to YouTube" workshop. This is geared specifically to podcasters trying to figure out YouTube – especially those doing remote video interviews like us. Let me tell you – it is NOT easy to find success on YouTube doing remote video podcasts! But we've figured a few things out and built a channel to 100K subscribers now.     Today, we launch the Bumper Dashboard: a measurement tool that combines data from a number of different sources to allow podcasters to see the true performance of their show. Podcast measurement is hard: there are?too many data sources that need to be combined to measure the actual consumption of a podcast instead of simply the delivery of audio files. Some podcast apps give us amazing data, but they act as silos. The Bumper Dashboard solves this by bringing the most important podcast metrics into one place, ingested from a number of services: your podcast hosting provider, marketing attribution services, and popular podcast apps (including YouTube).
