The value you create should never be measured by (or limited by) the time it takes to do it. Your work should only ever be measured by its quality. Measuring work based on time completely commoditizes it. It's why procurement-minded companies expect bids to be priced on a block of hours –?regardless of what's produced in those hours. But in truth, no brand wants work that sucks but is done within the hours allotted. On the contrary, moving faster adds greater value than moving slower – no brand would ever be unhappy with high quality work done faster. It's why, logically, the hours argument is dead.
