Two weeks ago, WE ACT partnered with Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC) New Economy Project Cooper Square Committee South Bronx Unite Good Old Lower East Side, Inc. (GOLES) Housing Conservation Coordinators Inc Housing Conservation Coordinators, Mott Haven/Port Morris Community Land Stewards, East Harlem/El Barrio Community Land Trust, and NYCLI to highlight our work in fighting for housing, environmental, and economic justice. We're fighting to pass the Community Land Act-- legislation which would champion community-owned and controlled land. Thank you Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala and Council Member Shaun Abreu for supporting our fight for the permanently affordable housing, green spaces, and community centers we deserve in our communities!
