If leaders want AI to deliver, they need more than tech—Gallup’s latest shows that without a clear plan, guidance, and training, those productivity promises will fall flat.
Corporate investment in AI is booming, with global spending projected to reach roughly $632 billion by 2028.? The rapid adoption of AI and digital technologies is fundamentally transforming organizations and their ways of working, creating a notable gap between the availability of AI tools and employee usage.?? While employees are optimistic about AI's potential, with two-thirds believing it will have a somewhat (52%) or extremely (14%) positive impact on their work, nearly seven in 10 never use AI, and only one in 10 use AI applications at least weekly.?? To bridge this AI usage gap and drive AI-led transformation in the workplace, leaders must prioritize the cultural component of AI adoption.
