I needed to zoom out of my NY media bubble for a gut check on how aesthetics and politics intersect for the “average” American Gen Zer. Does that even exist? If so, what are their values? Is there overlap between MAGA mindset and MAHA behavior? How does party affiliation inform beauty goals/standards? Are they all really using Zyn? Presenting key insights from my “PoliSthetics” poll (POLItics + aeSTHETICS) based on responses from a representative-ish sample of ~150 Gen Zers around the country.
