    ???????? Good news, literally. Four in 10 Americans are actively doing more good deeds before the end of this year. In our latest study for Avocado Green Brands 43% said they are using the end of the year to compensate for the rest of 2024, increasing their good deeds like volunteering or donating. And younger generations were more likely to say this. The survey, conducted ahead of Giving Tuesday, revealed fifty-nine percent of Gen Z and millennial respondents are doing good as we approach 2025, to make up for the rest of the year — compared to 37% of Gen X and baby boomers surveyed.     Good news ahead of Thanksgiving — turkey snagged the third spot in a poll for Americans’ favorite sandwich! Partnering with Carl Buddig and Company for National Sandwich Day, we asked 2,000 Americans about their love of the humble sandwich. And they didn’t disappoint. Our survey found that sandwiches make up 30% of Americans’ diets, on average. And 46% of respondents said they could live on them alone forever. Favorite sandwich fillings: ?? Grilled cheese (42%) ??     We partnered with IHG Hotels & Resorts and Allison Worldwide to deliver a data-led news story about Americans’ retirement plans and travel aspirations. Our Talker Research team surveyed 2,000 Americans who have retired, or will retire, between 2020–2029 to explore what they enjoy doing with their free time — with a specific focus on leisure and travel.     You’ve heard of women’s intuition, but did you know 81% of women trust their own “ill-tuition”? It’s the sense that something feels off with your health before knowing for sure. Working with Coyne PR and MD Live by Evernorth, we ran a study with 2,000 women to find out more about intuition and specifically whether women trust their gut feeling when it comes to their health. While our research showed that women have a lot of trust in their intuition — especially those who are moms — it found that when it comes to feeling like something is off, women delay seeing a doctor about their symptoms. Among the reasons for putting off seeking medical care are experiences where they’ve felt their symptoms weren’t a big deal (30%), with four in 10 sharing that they’ve experienced “medical gaslighting,” when a medical professional dismissed or ignored their concerns about symptoms they were experiencing. Also cost, fear of potential diagnosis and feeling like a burden were other reasons the respondents gave.     We partnered with Built — a real estate and construction finance and management platform — to explore how voters in swing states are feeling about homeownership. Our study of 1,000 adults found that 61% of parents polled are worried about whether their children will be able to buy a home as they get older. “With housing affordability top of mind for voters, political candidates won’t be able to sidestep the pressure to deliver real, actionable solutions,” said Built CEO Chase Gilbert. “With 10% of all U.S. residential construction spend managed on our platform, we have a front-row seat to the factors speeding up housing development nationwide.
