In a new survey, fifteen percent of respondents said they don’t believe there’s a gender pay gap. Our polling arm, Talker Research asked 2,000 Americans (split evenly by men and women) about the pay gap — revealing that men were twice as likely as women to say it didn’t exist (21% vs. 9%). ?? Three in 10 women said their gender has held them back in the workplace. ?? 46% of women surveyed have watched a male co-worker receive a promotion when they believe a more deserving female co-worker was passed over. ?? 38% of respondents do not believe the pay gap will be closed within their lifetime — with women more pessimistic than men (45% vs. 31%). ?? Younger generations were slightly more optimistic. 40% of Gen Z respondents believe the pay gap will be closed in their lifetime, compared to just 26% of baby boomers. Step aside, “finance guys” — According to single Americans, health care is the most attractive career sector. We asked 1,000 single men and 1,000 single women about the hottest careers of 2025 and which are the most dateable. In our Talker Research poll for dating app The League, men and women agreed that those in health care make the best partners and, when broken down by specific jobs, 26% said doctors are the most attractive career for a partner, while nurses ranked third (22%). As for finance bros, 18% of women are still looking for a man in finance, but it still ranked below being an entrepreneur (21%), and was tied with women looking for an artist (18%). Our recent study for Doctor's Best featured in this Forbes article, highlighting the challenges women face with healthcare. Partnering with Well-Earned Media, we conducted a Talker Research survey that found 33% of American women feel behind on key appointments like mammograms, going to the gynecologist and getting their physical examinations. The numbers rise considerably when looking at younger generations of women: 44% of millennial women and 51% of Gen Z women are behind on key health appointments and checkups. There’s a fine line between “vintage” and “outdated” — according to our new Talker Research study for Realty ONE Group. The survey of 2,000 American homeowners looked at generational differences when it comes to home buying and owning: ? Generally, Americans prefer minimalism to maximalism (56% vs 23%) ??
