    So much to say about Transform 2025 already... We'll be getting to some more highlights as the week rolls on, but wanted to give the first shout to all of the amazing connecting that's gone on so far. Huge shout to Angel Cruzado for organizing some wonderful meetups!     What's the hidden secret of the world's best teams? In this age of uncertainty (?? Maggie Jackson), I am seeing collectives all sizes hunker down, do what safe / expected, or choose comfort over courageous action. There is another way--rebuild collective confidence. In a recent article published by Duke Corporate Education, I explore this concept and how leaders can use it to: ??set and achieve more ambitious goals. ??persist through obstacles with increased determination. ??outperform seemingly more skilled or more successful teams. Teams that succeed when others fail isn't due to luck or the tailwinds of a "winning streak". It happens because these teams: ?? have members who believe they can meaningfully contribute. ?? look for inspiration from other successful teams and collectives. ?? learn and train together to ensure knowledge is spread across the team and shared. ?? create low stakes moments where they can experience success together and build a winning mindset. In an era when the world feels heavy, the environment is wildly dynamic, and success is no longer guaranteed, collective confidence might just be the only tool a leader has to stem the tides and scale the next mountain. This is the work I love doing with executive teams and collectives--helping them to see they have everything they need, inside. Teams like those led by tremendous leaders such as Cecile Coutens, Debbie Durso-Bumpus, Dane ?? Groeneveld, Philip Dur, Ron Gaver, Kayling Gaver, Bo Lais, Stephanie Neuvirth, and many others.     How do you rejuvenate your team’s purpose? Clear the air? Reconnect? We are wrapping up a wonderful 2 days together as a team, sharing, strategizing, debating, and reconnecting. We use these meetups to get vulnerable and be real and raw with eachother. A safe place where disagreement can blossom into a way forward, where transparency can foster understanding and solidify our bonds as we move ahead to tackle the difficult problems every business places before it’s leaders. Today, a slightly cloudy, yet beautiful sunrise (no filter) serves as the perfect metaphor for another three quarters and a new dawn on working together to achieve big goals. So how do you all do it?     Because here’s the thing... appreciation isn’t just a social grace, it should be a lived by value. It’s fuel for your team and it costs you nearly nothing.
