Between 4 March and 6 May 2024, the first global Cannabis Queens Survey was conducted. Over eight weeks, 212 women from all over the globe shared their truth. They shared tales of joy, of fear, of abuse, and of their everyday lives. They spoke about their work, their successes, and the challenges of being a woman in the cannabis industry. Their stories are woven throughout Cannabis Queens and the quantitative data collected was summarised for quick reference. The Queens spent an average of 19 minutes completing the survey. Three levels of consent were offered: anonymous, named participant without direct quoting, and full consent. Most of the questions in the survey were optional. The survey was open to anyone who identifies as a woman, working in any part of the legal cannabis industry, anywhere in the world. Survey responses were received from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czechia, France, Germany, Israel, Jamaica, Kenya, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and from Native American reservations in the United States.
