WDSU to Broadcast New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee Parade to Nationwide Audience WDSU and its parent company Hearst Television are proud to announce the official live broadcast of the inaugural New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee Parade, a groundbreaking Mardi Gras-style celebration set to take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. CT. This historic event will be carried nationwide on all Hearst Television stations, serving 26 media markets across 39 states, as well as the NFL Network, bringing the vibrant culture of New Orleans to audiences coast to coast. ? “We’re honored to share this incredible event with viewers across the country.” said Mike Neelly, President and General Manager of WDSU. “Through our broadcast partnership with the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee we’re showcasing not just a parade but the energy and cultural richness that make New Orleans so special.” ? The nationwide broadcast underscores the significance of New Orleans hosting its record-tying 11th Super Bowl. The parade will feature NFL-themed floats created by Carnival legend Barry Kern of Kern Studios, marching bands, local dance troupes, and cultural groups, all??designed to highlight the city’s unique spirit. Parade-goers can look forward to signature throws, including branded beads and plush footballs, as well as a star-studded lineup of celebrity guests and athletes.
