This past Monday, the Informational Technology Sector, Led by Sector Head Phillip Angus, presented two pitches to the West Chester Investment Group alongside analysts Bogdan Kulynin, Jake Kaplan, Sam Basilli, and David Viola. One is to sell Sea Limited (SE), and the other is to buy Apple Inc. (AAPL). Sea Limited, an e-commerce and gaming company, took a turn when one of its most played games?was banned?in app stores at the end of 2021. The company hasn't been able to recover since. The group thought it was appropriate to cut losses and shift assets to another buy. Despite?Apple's?recent business setbacks,?with?its rise in research and development investments, tapping into the AI market, and high-quality products,?Apple?will continue to be a?robust and stable company. The club voted and ACCEPTED both the sell and buy pitches!

This week, the Healthcare Sector, led by Sector Head John Shaer, presented a pitch to the West Chester University Investment Group to sell Veeva Systems Inc. (VEEV), alongside analysts?Connor Hentz, Charlie Murphy, and Sean McCafferty. Veeva Systems Inc. specializes in providing cloud-based software solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, facilitating critical business operations. The team is confident that now is the right time to sell VEEV, since our position in the company has increased 319% from the purchase date. The sector wants to capitalize on the potential gains from this sale, making the biggest ROI in club history to date. The club voted to ACCEPT the sector's proposal and executed a position to sell all shares of VEEV!

The?West Chester University Investment Group?was exhilerated to host its annual club run Alumni dinner recently at Teca Restaurant and Bar! The evening's highlights included a comprehensive report from President Ethan Oring?and Vice President Aiden Long, followed by a delectable complimentary dinner for all attendees. It was an unforgettable occasion that culminated in a successful conclusion to the year. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event!

This afternoon, West Chester University Investment Group had the opportunity to attended SEI Headquarters. In addition to learning about the company, we discussed the market outlook following Q1, took a tour of the campus, and much more.
