?? Exciting publication alert! #ClimateServices are key to helping decision-makers respond effectively to climate change. However, without quality standards, these services often struggle with reliability and market performance. The new study supported by Climateurope2 Barcelona Supercomputing Center World Meteorological Organization Copernicus ECMWF #Standards4eu #EUClimateAction published in #ScienceDirect, sheds light on how to enhance the quality, relevance, and accessibility of climate services. ?? Key Takeaways: - Four Pillars for analyzing climate services: decision context, ecosystem of actors, diversity of knowledge systems, and service evaluation. - Nine Key Messages identifying best practices and standardization needs—providing critical recommendations to standardization bodies and stakeholders. This research underscores the importance of standardized climate services in creating a more resilient, climate-adaptive society. ??
