WOMEN AND CLIMATE IMPACT FUND (“WCIF”) is a unique global investment vehicle that will target investments in projects with a social screen that impacts women's empowerment and gender equality while reducing the effects of global climate change and providing globally listed fungible credits with a market rate investment return. WCIF’s innovative investment program has been endorsed and supported by United Nations (UNFCCC), governments, companies, philanthropists, and capital market investors around the globe looking for investments that address the needs of women incorporating the standards of gender equality (SDG #5, #13) into all aspects of a project development cycle, while reducing the effects of global climate change The Fund investments will focus on Sustainable Development Goals for climate action, poverty, food, water, land and agriculture and create verified marketable credits, delivering an enhanced revenue stream to its investors and women’s groups in each investment.
