An absolute highlight of #WCAParis2024 was Dina Lelic’s presentation on Positivity Bias. Hearing aid owners who were asked to reflect on daily positive experiences with their Hearing Aids had better outcomes than those who were asked to make a general daily entry of their experience (not specifically a positive one). The Positiveit Bias group self reported higher higher hearing aid benefit and satisfaction, better speech intelligibility, and were able to recall situations were their hearing aids performed well. The power of positivity & gratitude ?? Love it ??

Excited to share that my abstract on "A Qualitative Consideration of When, Where and How Noise Bothers People" was accepted for the WCA 2024 in Paris! ?? While I am unable to attend in person, I’m proud of this research, which sheds light on the impact of noise on mental health and work performance. The study highlights key findings on how individuals cope with noise in various environments, which I hope will contribute to ongoing discussions in the field.
