Today, some of our Chamber team had the privilege of attending the Indiana Work-Based Learning Impact Awards, where we were honored to be nominated in two categories! Our intern, Jacob, was nominated for Work-Based Learner of the Year, and our Job Shadow Program was nominated for Innovative Program of the Year. We are incredibly grateful to be recognized for our work-based learning initiatives at the state level!

Do you know about the new BOI reporting that must be completed by 1/1/25 for certain existing businesses and within 90 days of starting a new business in 2024? Effective January 1, 2025, businesses may be required to disclose information regarding their beneficial owners to the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). This requirement is being implemented under the beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting provisions of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) passed by Congress in 2021. Complying is a very simple process and can be completed by visiting https://lnkd.in/e4zShHzk ?You must report information for each shareholder.

Congratulations, Ivy Tech Community College - Richmond!
What an amazing outpouring of support we received for the grand opening of our newly renovated healthcare floor including the Debra Edelman Healthcare Education Center! It was so exciting to highlight these new spaces and how they will help us grow and strengthen our area healthcare systems. Thanks to all of our community partners and members who attended including Reid Health, Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, Ivy Tech Community College and Ivy Tech Foundation faculty and staff, local and state board of trustees, and all of our Ivy Tech Richmond students, faculty and staff. ??
