News from Brazil! We've just completed the first of three retention tanks at the MRV Riviera project in Ribeir?o Preto, S?o Paulo, Brazil. This 500m3 tank was installed in just 4 days with a team of 3, showcasing the incredible efficiency of our Wavin AquaCell system. This rainwater management system not only provides attenuation but also allows for infiltration, addressing both flood prevention and groundwater recharge. In S?o Paulo/Brazil there is legislation applied to the entire state that requires new constructions to build a rainwater attenuation system.?With climate resilience becoming increasingly crucial, solutions like Wavin AquaCell are vital for urban areas. They help manage excessive rainfall, mitigate flood risks, and contribute to sustainable water management. Together, we make a difference through recycling of old plastic pipes! In 2024, we, along with some of our customers, saved 213 tons of CO2 through our Take Back recycling service in The Netherlands alone. That’s (an estimated) equivalent to driving around the Earth 21 times in a gasoline car. But we’re not done yet. Our Take-Back recycling service is also available in Germany, Sweden and Colombia, with more countries to follow soon.
