Flashback to #ASPE2024 in Columbus, OH where we debuted our Wavin A-Pex (PEX-a) as part of our full product line! We enjoyed exhibiting in the heart of the expo floor, next to the Innovation Theater and many of the industry’s top players. One of the highlights was hosting our educational game show, "The Pipe is Right," where attendees got to test their knowledge about plastic pipes. We loved seeing designers, contractors and other plumbing professionals compete to prove who knows more on the job! Successful day in #Tennessee as the second Wavin #AquaCell project in the state goes in the ground! Two tanks to install in one day? NO problem! The cold & rain didn't stop us! Tank #1 was a four level, 9,750 cf. system. Tank #2 was a three level, 8,310 cf. system. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a lot of great pictures as I was working with the crew to get this project done in time. We taught our See Water Differently course in the Learning Lab at #ASLA2024 to over 250 landscape architects and affiliated professionals! Some Key Concepts from the Course: ?? The water cycle is #circular by default. How can we build cities and communities to better connect our water systems to be more circular? ?? Nature has the answers. Designers can incorporate a series of #naturebased solutions at the building and infrastructure levels to achieve #netzero water across several scales. ?? Circular water design is #equitable design. Trees are essential in urban infrastructure -- they provide natural cooling, support biodiversity and promote public health & well-being. Tree pit systems can be used as a design and investment tool for improving tree equity by optimizing water resources for street tree installation in communities that need them the most.
