Damon Simmons, a valued melt maintenance team member at Waupaca Foundry's Plant 1 in Waupaca, Wisconsin, carries the discipline and teamwork he developed during his six years with the Army National Guard into his role at the Foundry. Serving as a field artillery assistant gunner with the 120th Field Artillery Regiment, Simmons cultivated focus, efficiency, and a strong sense of camaraderie. The structure and teamwork he experienced in the National Guard have seamlessly translated into his work in maintenance, where he performs general and preventative maintenance with precision and commitment.
