Earlier this month, our Waukesha team partnered with our channel partner, Superior, to host a joint booth at the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) in Cairo, Egypt. We had a great experience connecting with industry leaders, partners and customers to discuss the future of energy and how we can continue to support reliable, efficient power generation across the region. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

Gas Engine Technology (GET) is our foundational training course, which applies to all Waukesha engines. It provides a comprehensive focus on engine maintenance, operation and troubleshooting, and is a prerequisite for all other Waukesha training courses. GET is recommended for anyone responsible for the operation and maintenance of Waukesha engines and for those who desire a thorough understanding of engine theory and technology not easily attained in the field. There's still room in our upcoming GET sessions: ? Waukesha Pearce Industries (WPI) Training Center, Houston, TX, US | March 3 - 7 ? EGS FZE Training Center, Dubai, UAE | May 26 - 30 ? Waukesha Training Center, Waukesha, WI, US | June 2 - 6 ? Above & Beyond Compression (ABC) Training Center, Edmonton, AB, CA | June 2 - 6 ? Additional GET sessions are scheduled around the world for the remainder of 2025 The GET course covers: ? Engine Models: Understanding the Waukesha family, power ratings and current control systems. ? Cooling Systems: Start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting. ? Mounting & Alignment: Managing vibration and alignment for optimal performance. ? Combustion: Identifying causes of detonation, pre-ignition and optimizing air-fuel mixtures. ? Fuel Systems: Mastering fuel types, air-fuel ratios and adjustments. ? Exhaust Gas Analysis: Accurate testing methods and equipment use. ? Lubrication: Ensuring engine longevity through oil analysis and proper maintenance. ? Breathing Systems: Optimizing intake and exhaust systems to improve efficiency. ? Ignition Systems: Detailed insights into system functions, maintenance and troubleshooting. ? And more!

  • Compliance doesn’t have to be complicated. With the VGF SE models, it’s built in. Built-in solutions include: ? emPact Emission Control System: Integrates engine, catalyst, and air/fuel ratio control for seamless compliance. ? Real-time insights: Monitor faults, alarms, and operating parameters from one control panel. ? Simplified permitting: Factory-supplied systems make emission certifications easier. For power and compliance you can count on, VGF SE engines are ready for the job.

  • How do you power pumps, chillers, and compressors with no grid access? Simple: Use mechanical drive engines. Unlike motors, mechanical drive uses engines to directly power equipment - no external power source required. This makes it a reliable choice for locations where the grid isn’t an option. Here’s how it’s delivering results: ? Over 1,800 Waukesha engines have been shipped for mechanical drive applications in the past 25 years. ? It’s trusted in critical industries like water management, waste treatment, and oil & gas ? It’s designed to operate on a range of fuels like natural gas, propane and field gas. Our Waukesha 275GL+, VHP, and VGF engines are built to deliver powerful, reliable, and sustainable performance, where it’s needed.

  • Switching to natural gas for drilling operations can make a real difference, helping achieve up to 94% savings on fuel by using field gas vs. diesel while still achieving diesel-like performance. Waukesha natural gas engines also produce cleaner emissions, helping operators meet environmental standards without investing in extra equipment. For operators who want to cut costs and stay ahead of regulations, the switch to natural gas is a smart, proven “natural choice.”

  • SkidIQ gives you real-time data on engines and compressors, tracking things like vibration, temperature and pressure. With that kind of visibility, you can catch small issues early, before they turn into costly problems. It helps you plan maintenance ahead of time and works with the skids you already have, so getting started is simple. SkidIQ is a smart, straightforward way to save time and money while keeping everything on track.

  • Waukesha engines are built to last, and when it’s time to extend your engine’s life even further, our Waukesha reUp program makes it happen! Our reUp program makes this possible by: ? Reconditioning parts to meet original performance standards. ? Updating engines with new technology to meet future needs and regulations. ? Offering cost-effective maintenance that reduces waste and cuts environmental impact. This helps our customers stay efficient, meet regulations and lower overall carbon footprint, without sacrificing performance.

  • Innovation happens when the right people and companies come together. In July 2024, Alberta’s Minister of Environment and Protected Areas announced a $15 million investment in the NGIF Emissions Testing Centre (ETC) Program, a major push to scale methane-reducing technologies. Tourmaline Oil Corp invited the Waukesha team to the press announcement, recognizing their shared commitment to emissions reduction among a select group. As part of their collaboration, Waukesha upgraded 29 of Tourmaline’s engines to VHP Series Five specs through our reUp Remanufacturing program, transforming aging equipment into high-performance, low-emission powerhouses. The upgrades were validated through the NGIF ETC Program’s state-of-the-art facilities, including lab testing at the University of Calgary and live field trials at Tourmaline’s West Wolf Lake Gas Plant jointly owned with Rubellite Energy. This collaboration proves what’s possible when technology and teamwork meet. Together, Waukesha technology and Tourmaline are showing how producers can reduce methane intensity, boost efficiency, and lead the way toward a brighter future. NGIF Accelerator

  • The Waukesha 275GL+ with ESM 2 is built to take on remote locations, unpredictable loads and strict emissions requirements, all while managing costs effectively. How do you reduce emissions without sacrificing power? This engine’s design enhances fuel efficiency, lowering unburned methane and CO2, while providing the necessary power. What about rugged, remote environments? With low-compression pistons and larger turbochargers, this engine can handle tough conditions and deliver up to 5,000 BHP. It’s designed to operate reliably in diverse environments. Need better visibility into operations? With the ESM 2 engine controller, you can keep tabs on everything in one system: fuel, ignition, speed and diagnostics. It gives you real-time performance data so you can quickly troubleshoot issues, adjust for efficiency or plan maintenance without guessing. The work never stops, and neither should your engine.
