At Tuesday evening’s match against Bristol City, we introduced the ‘Ask for Angela’ scheme, which will now be in use at all of our home matches. All of our matchday staff have been trained and briefed in how to respond if someone ‘Asks for Angela’, and one of our matchday safeguarding supervisors will escort supporters to a designated place of safety. As with all types of discrimination, we’re committed to taking appropriate action against those involved in incidents of sexism and misogyny at our matches. We stand with those supporters who’ve been subjected to unwanted attention and harassment. https://lnkd.in/ej-TgXHC

To mark the start of our Women At The Game Week, the second episode of the club’s podcast series ‘Watford’s Black Pioneers’ has been released featuring our Women's Team Head Coach Renée Hector. Available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts or Spotify, the Series will tell the stories of black players connected to the Hornets in their own words.
