At Water for Good, we’ve seen how sustainable plumbing systems—combined with local training and long-term maintenance—can transform lives. There’s been a 90 percent or more reduction in childhood diarrhea in areas where we work, and communities are gaining the tools to sustainably maintain their progress. Without safe plumbing, communities face more than inconvenience—they face preventable health crises, economic stagnation, and limited educational opportunities. That’s why World Plumbing Day matters.
