However, a great need remains, as more than one-third of the country's population lacks access to safe water. Mary Howell, Director of Charleston Community Engagement, joined Lucy on her daily Walk for Water in Kambu, Kenya. The walk is dangerous and difficult—but it was one of Lucy's final walks. Lucy now has access to safe water in her community. But an enormous need still exists around the world as 2 billion people do not have access to safe water. At the Walk for Water in Charleston, we will walk to bring safe water to more than 14,000 people around the world, transforming lives with the gift of health, opportunity, and hope. Join us on March 29 at Riverfront Park and help us make a lasting impact. ?? https://lnkd.in/eYPpTQPx

Members of our team were honored to join other WASH organizations at the 2025 African Water and Sanitation Association (AFWASA) conference in Kampala, Uganda. We highlighted our safe water work through community development and disaster response, and exhibited our erosion chlorinator and Living Water Treatment System. We are grateful for this time to connect with our trusted partners in the sector, such as GRUNDFOS Grundfos Foundation | PDJF The Stone Family Foundation UDUMA and many others!
