Life is already busy enough, and it's getting even more complex. In order to keep up, we have to keep focus. A lot of that focus is directed towards the computers and mobile devices we use to do our jobs. That is why domestic chores are such a distraction, ESPECIALLY for entrepreneurs, builders and creators. These activities ARE the new work, and domestic chores have an extremely negative effect them. Chores cause a loss of focus and energy. All-the-while, those chores can be someone else's gig. Washrunner exists in anticipation of this new reality, where getting help with chores such as laundry is a need (not just a want). We anticipate in the future that fully managed lifestyle solutions will exist; where busy folks can have stylish wardrobes, with dry cleaning and laundry included. These services will be included all under one subscription and targeted to up-and-coming professionals in urban areas. Be on the lookout for this trend. Building Washrunner has been fun, rewarding and difficult. What I never anticipated was that it would be a physical workout lol. I initially intended on building the “Uber of Laundry.” But, my initial investor balked at putting together a seed funding round in 2016, so I have basically run it like a little nano business. After Covid we got relatively large but had a post Covid slump that I’ve been battling for some months. And that requires doing deliveries myself to keep it moving. I can’t stop. WONT STOP until I have no energy. ???? Some things I plan on doing to make it more appealing to investors and stakeholders are: 1. Turn the initial consumer service into a larger business. 2. Add a marketplace component that lets people choose which laundromat does their laundry, somewhat DoorDash-esque. 3. Create a community model, where you can directly hire some one at their chosen hourly rate plus expenses to just come over and do or pickup the laundry. In the meantime I’ll try to do some stretches to deal with this soreness! #laundrybeastmode #lugginglaundryacrossLA

Washrunner is laundry pickup and delivery service. First we pick your laundry up at a time and location of your choosing. It gets washed, dried, folded and bagged, before being delivered back. Washrunner is a door-to-door service. We are flexible and can pickup the laundry from your home, office or business. We can even pickup at one location, and deliver the laundry back to another location.

Georgia Tech students are partnering with a local nonprofit to bring a sense of dignity to Atlanta’s homeless community through an innovative Mobile Laundry Bus. After providing showers for years, @flowingwithblessingsinc wanted to go a step further by helping their clients leave with clean clothes. To make this vision a reality, they purchased a school bus and sought Georgia Tech’s expertise in converting it into a mobile laundry unit. The university’s industrial design students worked on the layout, ensuring the washers and dryers were arranged for maximum efficiency. This is what Washrunner laundry looks like when delivered to businesses/consumers. We pickup the laundry and take it to a high quality wash & fold service. Once it is complete we bring it back, washed, dried folded and bagged. For consumers we like to do this door-to-door, so laundry chores can nearly be a complete afterthought.
