?? WaV2T Students Showcase Their Tech Skills! ?? Our Washington Vets 2 Tech (WaV2T) students are wrapping up Week 2 of our 16-week program, and we couldn’t be more impressed with their accomplishments! Students from the Server and Cloud Application and Cybersecurity Administration pathways took on the challenge of building brand-new computers—and they delivered! ??? Here’s what they achieved: ? Assembled and installed all PC components ? Configured the operating system and essential software ? Connected the computers to the network These computers will not only support their training but also benefit future WaV2T cohorts, leaving a lasting legacy. This hands-on experience gave our students valuable, real-world exposure to working with hardware and software. ?? During the visit, students gained valuable insights into how Oracle has spent over four decades driving innovation, shaping entire industries, and empowering people to see data in new ways, discover insights, and unlock limitless possibilities. A special thank you to Mindy Jaffar HMC (FMF) ret. and Scott Payfer for organizing a session with industry professionals who have successfully transitioned from military service to careers in tech. They shared their personal stories and insights on how they brought their military skills and experiences to Oracle.
