Falon Merrick, one of our current students attests, "Joining this program is the best thing I could’ve done.. we can go into computer programming, maintenance type roles [or] technician roles. Yesterday, four of our students visited the Capitol for Legislative Outreach Day! They met with senators and representatives to advocate for the importance of technical education and share how Bates Tech is shaping their futures. Thank you to our legislators for taking the time to hear their stories and support career-focused education in our community!

Future Thunderbirds alert! More than 55 kindergartners from?Federal Way Public Schools?visited Highline College for the Kinders to College Event. These amazing engineers-in-training put their skills to the test building marshmallow towers, and their smiles were beaming as they received their 3D-printed medals?? After all that hard work, they explored our campus and visited a geology classroom where they got to play in the sand. To cap off their day, they made a special pledge to always learn and grow. It was so inspiring to see their excitement!????
