Human-centred Digital Intelligence Assistance and Conversational AI in Manufacturing
关于我们
The WASABI EU Project, coordinated by CARSA, focuses on intelligent digital assistance solutions, to increase the cognitive abilities of workers with decision support systems, and to accelerate the acquisition and transfer of knowledge, through natural language processing (NLP), for the upskilling of the existing workforce, at the same time securing job positions. Technologies from previous projects (COALA Project - coordinated by BIBA and rEUse technology by SYXIS) will be reused and customised, to demonstrate the solution’s coverage and adaptability in three initial cases representing typical issues of the manufacturing domain: the valorisation of production waste, the fast and cost-efficient onboarding of new factory workers, and the improvement of the manufacturing quality performance. The WASABI project aims at making digital assistance and conversational artificial intelligence become standard practices, accessible, affordable, and manageable even for small producers, to achieve market competitiveness and sustainability goals for European SMEs. A strong consortium has been built to cover all aspects of technical, industrial, and business requirements, going from industry to academia, to provide a complete value chain to bring new products and services to the manufacturing market. WASABI will run two open calls for experiments, designed to support AI-based digital assistance experiments involving SMEs from the broad manufacturing sector, enabling them to efficiently incorporate AI-based digital assistance in their daily processes. CONSORTIUM: CARSA - BIBA - Unimore - SYXIS - Sintef - TTTech - Atlantis Eng. - ICCS - Mews - REINOVA - KU Leuven - i-Deal - Bremen University - Trimek - Croma Gio.Batta - Episcan - Silk Biomaterials - Innovalia This project has received funding from the Horizon Europe programme under the Grant Agreement No. 101092176
