We’re excited to welcome Tim Stultz to our Board of Directors. Tim brings decades of leadership experience as a CEO and Board Member in the high-tech sector, serving both private and public companies in the semiconductor and life sciences industries. His commitment to service extends beyond business, with significant contributions as a trustee, director, and advisor for multiple non-profit organizations. A Vietnam veteran, Tim served two tours in 1968-69 as a Riverboat Coxswain (Brown Water Navy) near the DMZ. He holds a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Materials Science from Stanford University. Since 2018, Tim and his wife Reyne have enjoyed their retirement in Ennis, Montana, where they spend their time fishing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. Our Built for More Hunting Cohort is diving deep this week, gaining essential skills and insights to become safe, capable hunters. Yesterday, they covered hunter safety fundamentals—from mastering bow safety to responsibly navigating Montana’s bear country. They had the privilege of learning from seasoned experts like Randy Newberg and our very own Jesse LeNeve. But it’s more than just hunting skills. The cohort explored the role of physical fitness in a successful hunt and how it impacts mental and physical well-being. Through guided discussions, they unpacked the importance of time in nature, discovering how peak experiences in nature help clarify values, purpose, and identity, bringing a deeper sense of peace and connection. For these post-9/11 combat veterans, hunting is more than a pursuit—it’s a path to camaraderie, resilience, and purpose.

"Beyond the Warrior" is more than a story of resilience—it’s a testament to the strength of families, caregivers, and communities who stand beside those who have served. While Warriors choose a life of service, their loved ones often have service thrust upon them, navigating the challenges of trauma, recovery, and growth without recognition. At WQW, we believe that when veterans thrive, their families and communities thrive alongside them. By fostering connection and support, we help create a ripple effect of healing and strength. Today, we released a fantastic new episode for you on the Warriors & Quiet Waters Podcast with WQW Alum, Steve Flemming! Steve’s journey is one of service, sacrifice, and survival. While still in the military, he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and stage 4 cancer—both linked to toxic exposure. He’s not alone—many others who served alongside him are battling cancer, too. In the podcast, he also shares about the HunterSeven Foundation and their amazing work identifying and tracking exposure-related cancers in veterans. https://hubs.la/Q0394RN30
