  • Did you know the expert industry is reportedly worth over £6bn, largely dominated by two main players, Guidepoint and GLG? Expert networks connect companies and consultancies to subject matter experts, usually over 121 calls, in order for leaders to quickly learn what they don’t know about a topic of interest. But there’s a problem. Expertise is in crisis. As Albert Einstein famously said, “we will not solve problems with the same thinking that created them”. Before you could be looking at the future of a topic like retail and ask an ex-leader from a retailer for advice. Now,?due to increased complexity and the interconnectedness of problem solving, looking at one topic requires you to look at a multitude of topics.
