"I played a significant role by overseeing all technical aspects (from start to finish) of 2 major projects. The first project was the Kite Pharma Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility which held a contract value of $30,869,000 and a 60,000-square-foot lab space. The second project was the Library of Congress Storage Module 6 Facility, dedicated to storing the nation’s capital archives. The facility contract value was $4,551,000." ?? What drives you to excel in your role as Project Engineer at Warner Mechanical? "With each new project, I always gain experience and insights which I find very fulfilling.?Exceeding the client's expectations?is my goal, for the future work of the company." ?? We go over the details of the project and put together what we believe will be a good dollar amount as to what it will cost us to complete the job. We then send that number to Mechanical contractors to see if we are competitive and hope to win the project." ? ?? What drew you to the field of estimating? "I was brought in by a friend of the company when they were hiring for an estimator. I didn't have experience but was willing to learn and was looking for a career change." ? ?? Get to know Randy Sibold, President of Warner Construction! ?? What inspired you to pursue a career in construction, and how did you get started in the industry? "My Dad worked for the Corps of Engineers and was building dams on the Ohio River when I was a boy. He would take me to the site and the guys would drive me around on their lap in the big equipment and I would push the buttons to break the concrete test cylinders in the testing trailer so I figured early on that there was no better thing in the world to do than work in Construction." ? ?? How do you foster collaboration & communication among team members on projects? "I learned early in my career that you need to be tough but fair.?Helping the Subcontractors be successful and training and mentoring the young engineers and rookies in the field helps the project achieve its goals much better than a one-sided dictation of marching orders approach." ? ?? What do you enjoy most about your job as the President of Warner Construction? "I continue to love building projects and working with new hires and front-line managers to help them hone their skills and advance in their careers." ? ?? What do you enjoy doing in your free time/outside of work? "I love spending time with my family and dogs, watching college football, riding motorcycles, boating, and wood working." "My father is the General Superintendent, so I worked here with him in the summers of 15-16 and 16-17. However, I have been with RWW as the Executive Corporate Admin since May 2021." ?? What do you enjoy most about working here? "I truly enjoy working with all my direct coworkers. Everyone here truly makes the family atmosphere a true statement." ??
