Wargo French Singer recently hosted an in-person and online CLE entitled, “Trade Secrets: Protections and Pitfalls that Lawyers Need to Know.” ? Presented by WFS attorneys David Pernini and Shanon McGinnis, this CLE provided an overview and practical guidance on how to minimize legal risk under the Defend Trade Secrets Act, as well as the more established Uniform Trade Secrets Act.?The CLE also addressed the measures companies must take to ensure they are protecting their trade secrets, including the duties and roles of in-house and outside attorneys in protecting and maintaining the trade secrets of their clients.?
