We were excited to attend the grand opening of Penn Medicine LG Health Physicians Family Medicine Centerville last week! This 9,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, offering family medicine and specialty care under one roof, was a true fast-track project built from the ground up in less than 11 months. It stands as a testament to what can be accomplished through teamwork and collaboration. We’re grateful for the relationship we’ve built with Penn Medicine over the years in creating spaces that enhance the health and well-being of our communities. We are thrilled to introduce the PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Milford, DE! This state-of-the-art facility, a collaboration between Warfel and LF Driscoll, spans 75,000 square feet over two stories and is designed to support patients on their journey to recovery from acute illnesses and injuries. The hospital aims to reduce hospital readmissions and assist individuals in regaining their strength and independence. It features 40 private rooms with accessible bathrooms, an in-house pharmacy, and?outpatient and inpatient therapy gyms. We extend our deepest gratitude to PAM Health and Bayhealth for entrusting us with this project and to LF Driscoll for their partnership and shared commitment throughout this project. Project Spotlight: Revitalizing Elizabethtown College’s Film and Weight Rooms! After spring sports wrapped up, our Construction Services team revamped an old equipment room into a modern film room and converted an unused racquetball court into a fully equipped weight room. Film Room: This 900 sq. ft. space received a complete facelift, including selective demolition, new flooring, fresh paint, updated electrical, a new ceiling, upgraded doors, and various finishes. Removing the demising wall was a key part of this project, giving the school the extra space it needed to create a fully functional film room. Weight Room: What was once a 720 sq. ft. racquetball court is now a robust weight room. We framed new walls, installed abuse-resistant drywall to withstand heavy equipment, installed a new ceiling system, added updated electrical outlets and sensors, applied fresh paint, and laid down rubber gym flooring and vinyl cove base. We hope the Elizabethtown College students and faculty enjoy these newly revitalized spaces.
