    I've been in the legalized cannabis industry since about 2012. I never thought I'd see the day when I could say that A) Wana has beverages! and B) Those beverages are now available in Total Wine & More stores across nine states (AZ, TX, IN, FL, NC, SC, KY, NE and NJ). So excited about this opportunity to bring the plant, and our tested, precisely dosed, consistent products to consumers across the country.     Cannabis Marketing & Sales

    This post is about a month overdue, but better late than never has always been my motto! Officially one year at Wana Brands ?? what a fun and rewarding ride it’s been? shifting from marketing to sales in this industry wasn’t without its challenges - and I’m still learning every day. I’m incredibly grateful that Shane Chace Dwyer reached out & Courtney Eder took a chance on me and that I’ve had the incredible support of our entire MA team (past & present) along the way. I’m inspired every day by the incredible innovation happening behind the scenes at Wana - I can tell you that there is no other company in this market putting the same level of time, science, research, and thought into their products. It’s truly incredible and I feel both proud and lucky to be part of it all. Right around when I accepted the role with Wana last year, my dog Remy was diagnosed with cancer. When I told the team, they offered to push my start date to make sure I could take care of him. This was my first sign that I made the right move coming to this company. When I had my first meeting with HR and told them I was getting married in September, they offered me extra PTO so I could enjoy my wedding. No exaggeration, my jaw dropped. A cannabis company that realizes and respects that you have a life outside of your job? Talk about a unicorn. Our products speak for themselves, but my team is what has truly made this last year special. Without Hillary Budreau Dana Siska Sarah Rodgers Samantha Cardin and Therese in my corner I can confidently say I would not be nearly as successful in this new-to-me role. Between supporting me as I navigated the transition from marketing to sales, to covering me during one of the busiest (but most fun) years of my life, to being there for me when I eventually lost Remy and more recently our other pup, Dano. They haven’t let me fail and I’m so grateful. The cherry on top? We’ve had so much fun along the way! I’d be lying if I said 2025 was off to a great start. Less than two months in, in the thick of seasonal depression season in New England…there’s been more downs than ups lately. BUT I’d also be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see where this year takes me. Here’s to all the new challenges, opportunities, and FUN to come in 2025 ?
