Call for Artists! Are you an artist who identifies as having a disability? If so, we would be thrilled to feature your work during our Winter Artists Showcase on December 9th at Augusta's own The 523 gallery. An art space dedicated to artists with disabilities. This event is dedicated to individual artists with disabilities who wish to showcase and submit their own art. Entry is open to all artists from Georgia and South Carolina who identify as having a disability. **Additional Eligibility Criteria:** · Artists must identify as having a disability. · Eligible artworks include drawings, fabric designs, jewelry, metalsmithing, needlework, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, weaving, wood carving, and more. · Artists must possess the legal right to sell their work. · We are looking for a diverse selection of pieces that cater to all budgets, ranging from affordable gifts to high-end art. Cam was a beloved member of the Walton Options family. Our relationship began when he participated in Camp TBI as a young man, and over time, he became part of our staff, helping others with disabilities on their path to independence. Cam will be deeply missed, and it was a privilege to have known him and Larry for so many years. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kat McCall. She was an exceptional artist, a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a cherished friend to many. At Walton Options, our staff remembers her as the artist behind the stunning watercolors! For two years, Kat graced our Undercover Artists fundraisers, and her designs on our invitations always generated excitement and created a wonderful atmosphere for the events. The proceeds from her donated pieces contributed to supporting Camp TBI, an annual camp for children living with traumatic brain injuries.
