First Street North Apartments project achieved a very important milestone this week with a basement foundation pour of 1,900 cubic yards. The Go for Broke Plaza and First Street North apartments project officially broke ground in February 2024. The project is located next to the Japanese American National Museum. It is the largest 100 percent affordable housing project for the City or Los Angeles consisting of 248 affordable housing units as well as ground floor commercial space.
