This visit was a perfect blend of connecting with our US-based colleagues, exchanging ideas, and witnessing our global vision in action. #MooreExperts Dylan Richard and Katherine Chan, MSFE examine how Walter P Moore’s ConnecTID? model impacted the design of the University of South Florida’s Judy Genshaft Honors College in the November issue of STRUCTURE Magazine. ConnecTID? was used to solicit and onboard the subcontractors and helped reduce risk on the project by being openly shared with other building team members. ConnecTID? also enabled the development of a custom structural steel solution to support the panels’ peel-away feature. I had a wonderful time at the CREW DC Awards last week and was honored to receive the Champion Award. I was grateful to celebrate this award with my co-workers at Walter P Moore (Daniella Blyakhman, P.E., Nicolette Swanbery, PE, Becca Inzer, PE, Sarah Mahler, PE, Beth Bryan, P.E., PTOE, PTP). I was also happy to celebrate additional awards for Kathy Allgier, Marie Purkert, and Antoinette Beverly after having the pleasure of serving on boards and committees with these amazing women.
