Can you imagine these beautiful pouches were once "Dream Makers" statue construction hoardings and old raincoats? It's a brilliant example of how we blend creativity with sustainability! ? With ongoing construction at the park, our Facility Services team strives to reuse materials wherever possible. Our Walt Disney Imagineering team adds magic by incorporating hidden Disney elements like *Mickey logo* and the castle into the fabric's design. Together, their efforts allow us to create meaningful, sustainable souvenirs that reflect Hong Kong Disneyland commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. ? A big thank you to St. James' Settlement - Hong Kong for hosting a special workshop. I hope all our #DisneyVoluntEARS had a blast transforming the canvas from the statue's construction hoardings into their very own phone pouches. Executive Creative Director Sara Thacher recently spoke at the Immersive Experience Network Summit in London, joining over 700 innovators, creators, and operators in the industry! ? In her session, Sara explored the concept of “honest magic” and how misdirection and subversion create engaging, high-throughput experiences. Using Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana as examples, she highlighted how Imagineering designs immersive spaces that invite guests to play and explore, offering different levels of interaction to suit each guest’s journey. “The concentration of immersive talent in London is so high, and the work presented was inspiring.
