During Black History Month, it’s important to reflect on the events of the past while calling for a more equitable society. Last week, iCapital?hosted an internal webinar on?the importance of leadership, showing up authentically, and having a mentor who is different from you. We also hosted a fireside chat with Troy Prince, Founder & CEO of Wall Street Bound, Inc, who shared his mission to help talented youth realize their dream of working on Wall Street. Troy emphasized the importance of social and emotional skills to help when there’s a lack of diversity in the room and how taking yourself less seriously might lead to discovering new life paths. ? This month, we are proudly supporting Black-owned local businesses like Tradewinds (CT, NY), Urban Taste (NY, NJ), and Brooklyn (Lisbon).
