It's a wrap! Collision 2024 Toronto was amazing! A super organized, super attended and fun tech summit. A big thank you to everyone who visited our kiosk and experienced our neighborhood search platform for real estate. The feedback, conversations on partnerships, and use of the platform as value added to PropTech was encouraging and validating. They were impressed! Yay! #Collision2024 #Walkspan #PropTech #TechConference #RealEstate

The 2023 Smart City Expo held last week at Pier 36 in New York City offered an amazing showcase of data, algorithms, case studies, and hardware for smart city growth. Walkspan is proud to take part in this event.?Thanks to the Tech Incubator at Queens College and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Walkspan was able to present its neighborhood intelligence platform, a decision-making tool for #realestate and #smartcity development. The climate change and societal impacts of promoting #walkableneighborhoods is significant - up to 50% reduction in carbon emissions.?Increased sociability essential to longevity is also significant. Many thanks to Dr. Ying Zou and Fernando Montejo for this opportunity, Melanie Radley for her thoughtful guidance, and Myles Share for the colorful swags. Entrepreneurs, investors, professors, and students visited our kiosk.?The Walkspan team received curious questions about our business model and how different we are from #Googlemaps. Insightful suggestions were made on our filtering system and on specifying distances. The most frequent question asked was whether the platform is available to the public or only for businesses, suggesting a wide interest among businesses and direct consumers.
