关于我们

Walk and Talk workshops utilize conversational learning, movement, and natural settings to cultivate meaningful learning experiences. Our conversational learning method is supported by a wide range of research that demonstrates the benefits of movement and natural settings for learning experiences. We draw from a wide, diverse range of texts in philosophy and the sciences to foster conversations that are deep, meaningful, and relevant. We have designed a series of workshops utilizing our method that focus on team building, self-care, conflict resolution, and workplace archetypes. Reach out to our team at [email protected] or dial +1 (908) 309-4217 for more information or to book a program.

This year's gathering of The Thoreau Society, Inc, just a few short days long, fostered a deep sense of gratitude. Not least of all because it was an opportunity to reconnect with thoughtful and generous acquaintances from year's past. One of my favorite moments of the whole trip however, is pictured below: a reflective, dialogical walk through the Emerson-Thoreau Amble. We're grateful to everyone for putting up with the heat, humidity, and insects. The conversation revolved around the conference theme of resilience--featuring discussions about Thoreau and Emerson's experience with grief, the writing process, and coincidentally a detour through the American Revolution. We talked poetry and we wrote poetry. As though wandering an unmarked trail, you never know where a discussion amongst willing strangers might lead. Looking forward to next year's gathering, as always.
