Alongside incredible community-based organizations and Riverside County leadership, we came together to inspire growth, resilience, and purpose in young people while equipping parents and guardians with the tools they need to navigate today’s challenges. Anabel joined our THPP/NMD program after living with her foster parents and was ready to take her next steps toward independence. Since being with Walden, she has worked hard to finish high school, find employment, and continue her education—and we couldn’t be prouder! ???? In November 2024, she earned her high school diploma and is now balancing college while working part-time at a local restaurant. Her next goals? Graduate from college, get her driver’s license, and grow her savings! ?? Celebrating Jennifer’s Journey! ?? From uncertainty to unstoppable, Jennifer’s story is one of strength, perseverance, and growth! ?? Originally placed in Walden’s THPP NMD Program, she successfully transitioned to our THP Plus Program, where she continued to build confidence and develop the tools to manage anxiety and depression. Through hard work and unwavering determination, Jennifer graduated from community college in June and is now tackling her first semester at SDSU, majoring in Business Administration—all while balancing two part-time jobs! ?? As she prepares to graduate from Walden’s THP program in December, Jennifer will continue her journey through the FUP program, staying focused on her goals of thriving as a student, continuing therapy, and building a bright future.
