We love to see a project that focuses on exceptional lighting design- check out this feature in Marin Magazine! This masterful renovation of a Santa Barbara-style Spanish Colonial home in San Anselmo showcases the intersection between traditional architecture and contemporary design. A highlight is David Trubridge Ltd's Navicula and Kina pendants, which bring an organic beauty to the modern interior. One of the challenges in designing this space was the sheer size of the home- 7,300 square feet, with five bedrooms and five and a half baths, and ceiling heights that reach up to 20 feet in some rooms. "Since the cost of a total renovation for a house of this size would have been prohibitively expensive, Pike was tasked with pulling off a transformation without changing the flooring, windows and staircase, and without fully remodeling the kitchen."
