Earlier this year, our Hawai?i grantmaking team gathered grantees and partners serving rural communities across Hawai?i to explore opportunities for collaborative learning and advancement of community goals, as part of our broader rural grantmaking efforts. Our Waimānalo Health Center Farmer’s Market is open every Wed from 2-5. Here’s what you can find. Happy Wednesday! Today we have Farmer’s Market here on ‘Akahi side from 2 PM – approx. 5:15 PM or sellout. Ma Farms is back with their usual fresh produce as well as their pre-made salads & green papaya smoothies. Rooted Initiative Farm will have sunflowers and tatsoi for sale today. Mrs. Masala Wellness will be back next week with her spices and cookbooks. We will have Travis from Husk Till Dusk with cold coconuts ready. Additionally, we have Treasures by Shireen and Aunty Nani’s Cookies. Kawela Crochet will return at the end of the month and Sandy’s Sazon food truck will be on continued leave through the summer.
