Our first inline tenant, Hair Cuttery Family of Brands, opened last week at The Plaza at Normandy in Jacksonville, Florida. Hair Cuttery and four others will complete the retail space of the Publix anchored plaza, with McDonald's and Wawa following quickly on the outparcels. We are thrilled to announce Kris McDonald, CCIM, JD has joined the WPG team as Vice President! Kris's almost 30-year commercial real estate career began as in-house counsel with Walgreen Co and has included executive?positions at Chase Bank and Fred’s Pharmacy.?Most recently, Kris was the Vice President of Development for Tampa-based Checkers Drive-In Restaurants for seven years where she led the franchise sales and recruitment functions, as well as real estate and construction operations. ? In her new role at Wagner Property Group, Kris will be actively engaged in various aspects of the deal from determining the viability of projects to reviewing contractual documents, assisting in entitlements, prospecting deal strategies, and enhancing tenant relationships.?? ? Publix 1859 in Jacksonville, FL done and dusted!

What an amazing welcome from the Jacksonville community at the Grand Opening of our newest Publix, Store 1859! A steady stream of excited customers with empty shopping carts flowed through the doors at 7am, some traveling from 20 miles away, just for the sheer excitement of being among the first patrons. This location filled a major void in the area, and the gratitude from the locals was abundant. We couldn't be more honored to have been selected as the developer of Publix Super Markets Store 1859! ?? ??
